Family plays a very important part in life – especially when one lives on a remote little island somewhere in the Aegean sea.
Real bonding experience
Our friend originally grew up far, far north in a Scandinavian country with lush green, strong white winters and little coloured wooden cabins in the forest. Astrid Lindgren’s Pippi Longstocking still lives there in her coloured house and her horse.
So when her dad came to visit from Sweden, there was much desire to re-bound and catch up. He told us, he had the chance to sail with a company boat when he was still working. Bringing this passion back to life was the perfect start for a memorable experience. Father and daughter spending the day together and make the boat move with the wind was a very nice bonding experience. Winches got turned, ropes tightened, sails hoisted, tacks and gybes manoeuvred.
Sailing on a small boat creates the perfect bonding setting for a small group or just a team of 2. And it creates an ever-lasting memory for the family album.
Do you remember when we sailed that boat together on the little Greek island?
